"Through his ‘artistic creativity’ man appears more than ever ‘in the image of God’"

Why a Butterfly?

Your old logo was a dove; why now a butterfly?

favicon

When God inspires His people today He doesn’t come in a great wind or flaming tongues of fire. The clouds don’t part for us as a dove appears guiding us in wisdom. No, our inspiration is silent and almost unnoticed. Maybe a whisper or a light flittering thought. God speaks gently to us and inspires us through everyday things.
I felt the image of a butterfly gently flapping and moving from flower to flower in a garden represents God moving about His people checking on each one and guiding as He goes. No pompous grandeur, just humble love, and hope for us, His beautiful flowers.

A butterfly is also a Christian symbol of hope, transformation, and Resurrection. So a butterfly is a reminder to me that life is short and I need to grow in understanding, wisdom, mercy, peace, and all the Gifts and Fruits of the Holy Spirit. This growth will change me and make me more ready to meet Our Lord.
